Mount Rinjani

The Mount Rinjani is the second highest volcano in Indonesia. To reach the top of the volcano (12,224 ft) and enjoy the hot springs at Segara Anak Lake, you will need a three day trek (starting from Sembalun and coming back to Senaru).

Tailor-made trekkings to the Rinjani can be organized by our local guide which comprise of meals, equipment, transportation, porters as well as entry fees.

Depending on what you prefer, we can organize a two day trekking (to the Segara Anak Lake) or a three day trekking (to the summit). We will be happy to help you organize your trek!

Sendang Gile & Tiu Kelep Waterfalls

Saifana is only 20 minutes drive from Senaru. From there, you will have to walk approximately 30 minutes to reach the waterfalls.

Be ready to venture in the Lombok jungle, meet some monkeys, climb a few hundreds stairs and cross a river!

You can also reach the waterfalls by a tunnel which allows the water to flow under the mountain. The tunnel is 1,85 meter tall and 800 meters long.

If you are not scared of the dark, ask the guide to go in this tunnel on the way back ! It is totally worth it!

Nearby volcanic beaches

A beach can be accessed from our farm with its unique black sand and pebbles. The only visitors you may cross paths with on this beach are buffalo herds and the occasional fisherman.

The secret Gilis

Not far from the farm you will find the less known Gilis of the east which are mainly frequented by locals. You will quickly be charmed by its pristine white sand beaches and the colorful marine life.

Don’t forget to bring your picnic and your google swimming goggles!

Pergasingan Hill

Pergasingan is located at the entrance of Sembalun. If you like small hikes and beautiful views, this is made for you! It only takes two hours to reach the top of the hill and you will have a breathtaking view over the Mount Rinjani, the Island Sumbawa and Sembalun’s fields.
